There's no Fansly app in Apple's App Store or Google Play as of October 2026. We searched both. Fansly's official app is a web app you install from your browser, straight onto your phone's home screen.
So when you search for a Fansly app download, the safe source is fansly.com itself. This guide shows you how to install it on Android and iPhone, remove it, spot fake apps and fix login problems. Creators get a section on posting and going live from a phone, and agencies get a short part at the end. New to the platform? Start with our explainer on what Fansly is and how it works.
Is there a Fansly app for iPhone or Android?
Not in the app stores. On 5 October 2026, we searched Apple's App Store in the US and UK and got zero results for "fansly". Google Play's search showed no Fansly app either.
Google Play also had no listing from Select Media LLC, the company named on Fansly's creator payouts. Its top result was Fanly, an app from Fanly Communications in India. That's a different company with a similar name, not Fansly.
What Fansly does offer is the browser version. Its help centre says Fansly's options are available on both mobile and desktop devices. On top of that, fansly.com publishes the files your phone needs to install it like an app.
Why isn't Fansly in the App Store or Google Play?
Fansly's help centre doesn't mention a native app, so there's no official explanation to quote. Both stores do have general content rules. Apple's App Review Guidelines bar overtly sexual material under guideline 1.1.4. Google Play's policy doesn't allow apps that contain or promote sexual content.
Neither rule names Fansly. Treat them as background, not as the reason.
What is the Fansly app?
The Fansly app is fansly.com installed to your home screen as a web app, sometimes called a progressive web app or PWA. It's the same site you'd open in a browser. The difference is that it gets its own icon and opens like a regular app.
You can check this yourself. Fansly publishes a web app manifest, the file browsers read before they install a site. It names the app "Fansly", includes a home screen icon and uses "standalone" display. That setting is what lets it open in its own window instead of a browser tab.
This isn't new. In 2021, Fansly announced its web app on X, with home screen steps for iPhone and Android. Android users were pointed to a button on their feed. We couldn't confirm that button is still there, so the steps below use your browser's own install option.
One thing trips people up: fansly.com/application is Fansly's creator application, not an app download.
| Where you look | What you'll find | Official? |
|---|---|---|
| fansly.com in your browser | The full Fansly site, on mobile or desktop | Yes |
| fansly.com on your home screen | The same site, installed as a web app | Yes |
| App Store or Google Play | No Fansly listing (checked October 2026) | Not applicable |
| APK files and other websites | Lookalike apps and pages | No |
How to download the Fansly app on Android
On Android, you install Fansly through Chrome. Google's Chrome Help page gives the same steps for any site that can be installed:
- Open Chrome and go to fansly.com. Type the address yourself rather than tapping an ad or a link someone sent you.
- Tap More to open Chrome's menu.
- Tap Install and create shortcut.
- Tap Install.
Fansly now sits on your home screen. Chrome lists installed web apps under Settings > Apps too, which matters later if you need to clear the cache or uninstall. Open the new icon and log in.
How to get the Fansly app on iPhone
On iPhone, you add Fansly to your home screen from Safari. The labels on your phone may look slightly different, but the route is the same:
- Open Safari and go to fansly.com.
- Tap Share.
- Choose Add to Home Screen.
- Open Fansly from the new icon and log in.
There's nothing to download from a website. If a page offers you a Fansly file to install, close it.
How do you uninstall the Fansly app?
Removing the app takes it off your phone, nothing more. Your Fansly account, wallet and subscriptions live on fansly.com, so they stay as they were.
- Android: go to Settings > Apps > See all apps, choose Fansly and tap Uninstall, as Chrome Help describes.
- iPhone: remove the Fansly icon from your home screen the way you'd remove any other shortcut.
Leaving Fansly for good? Deleting the icon won't cancel anything. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel them, so cancel first.
Watch any money left in your wallet too. After 12 consecutive months of inactivity, Fansly charges $5 a month until the balance hits $0 or you log in again.
Is the Fansly APK safe?
No. Fansly's official app is the web app from fansly.com, so an APK from any other site isn't an official Fansly app. Fansly's help centre is blunt about it: "Fansly operates only under: https://fansly.com" and "Any other domain emulating Fansly is fraudulent." That's from its identity theft page.
While researching this guide, we found lookalike APKs and app sites ranking for "fansly app". Some list a developer name that doesn't match Select Media LLC. Here's how to spot them:
- It's a file, not a website. Fansly's web app installs from fansly.com in your browser, not from a file you download.
- The address isn't fansly.com. Check the domain before you type anything.
- It promises downloads. Fansly says media on Fansly cannot be downloaded, and purchases stay in your Media Collection.
- It asks for your Fansly password. Only enter your login on fansly.com or your installed Fansly web app.
That downloads point cuts both ways. Fansly also warns that downloading or redistributing content without permission can get your account suspended.
Already typed your login into a fake? Fansly's advice is to change your password and turn on 2FA. If you think someone got in, its hacked account steps add securing your email, turning on 2FA there as well, and contacting support. For the wider picture, read our guide on whether Fansly is safe.
Fansly login problems on your phone
Fansly's login issues page covers the common causes: a forgotten username or password, or the wrong social login.
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Forgot your username | Log in with your email address instead |
| Forgot your password | Tap Forgot Password? on the login screen |
| Signed up with Google or X | Log in through that same social account |
| Purchases seem to be missing | Check you're in the account that matches your purchase emails |
Social logins are easy to mix up. If you created your account with Google, use the Google button again rather than typing an email and password.
Some fans also have an extra verification step. Fansly says "[s]ome regions require additional verification from a third party". As of October 2026, fans in 12 US states verify their age through Ondato. So do fans in the UK, Australia, Brazil and Germany. If you live in one of those places, that check is expected, not an error.
When the Fansly app freezes or won't load
Fansly's basic troubleshooting page treats the installed web app like any other app. Its steps for mobile:
- Fully close the Fansly app, then reopen it.
- On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Fansly and clear the cache or data. Chrome lists installed web apps there, so the path matches.
- On iOS, if there's no cache option, reinstall the app. For the web app, that means removing the icon and adding it again from Safari.
How to turn on 2FA in the Fansly app
Two-factor authentication adds a second step after your password, so a stolen password alone isn't enough. Tap your profile picture, then go to Settings > Account > Setup 2 Factor Authentication, as Fansly's 2FA guide explains.
You can use an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy, or codes sent by email. Fansly asks for a code at login and for sensitive actions, including payout requests. Never share the setup QR code with anyone. If you lose your authenticator, Fansly support verifies your identity and removes 2FA so you can set it up again.
Fansly app notifications
You manage Fansly's notifications from your account settings. Tap your profile picture, then Settings > Notifications, and use the sliders. For emails, Fansly's help page on stopping emails says to use the unsubscribe link in the email footer.
On Fansly itself, following a creator is free, and followers get notified about new posts and live streams.
Phone push alerts are a different matter. Chrome Help notes that some installed web apps can add notifications and icon badges. Fansly's help centre doesn't say whether its web app does, so don't count on push alerts for anything time-sensitive.
Finding creators in the Fansly app
The installed app gives you the same discovery tools as the website. Fans find creators through the For You Page, the Suggestions tab, search and clickable hashtags. The navigation icons sit at the top or bottom of the screen, depending on your device. If you already know who you're looking for, search is the most direct of those options.
Using the Fansly app as a creator
You can post stories, schedule posts and go live from your phone. A few screens look different from desktop.
Posting stories
Stories on mobile work the same way as on desktop, though the layout differs slightly. Tap the blue-outlined button to start one.
Scheduling posts
On mobile, the "+" button at the bottom of the screen opens the post composer. There you can schedule a post for later. To check what's queued, open your profile menu and find Scheduled Post Queue.
Going live from your phone
Fansly's live streaming guide puts it simply: "Mobile user? No problem. Ensure your app supports RTMP ingest." It names PRISM and Streamlabs, both on iOS and Android. The page doesn't say you can stream from the Fansly site alone, so plan on a streaming app.
Two rules apply on any device. Streams must be genuinely live, with no pre-recorded video even if you disclose it. You also need the rights to any third-party music or game footage.
Fixing "You cannot send an empty post"
If the composer refuses to post, Fansly suggests switching browser on your computer or mobile device. It lists Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data can help too.
Giving your team access without sharing your login
If a manager or chatter helps with your account, don't hand over your password. Management Sessions give team members access without sharing your login. Permissions are set per link, and payouts and account closure always stay restricted.
Managing several Fansly accounts without the app
A phone works fine for one account. Once you run several creators, switching logins on a phone gets slow, and it tempts people into sharing passwords. In agency work, I've found access is the first thing worth sorting out. Our guide to managing shift chatters without password sharing covers the Fansly side.
For the operations side, our Fansly API, an independent tool, lets you work across connected accounts from one place. It isn't password-free. Each creator connects once with their password and 2FA:
- Start Authentication begins the connection.
- Poll Authentication Status shows whether Fansly wants a code, from email or an authenticator app.
- Submit 2FA sends the code. The
fansly.accounts.otp_code_requiredwebhook flags the challenge, which expires after 15 minutes.
After that, List Accounts shows everything connected. Re-authenticate Account reconnects using stored credentials, and Disconnect Account removes one. Day-to-day work then runs through endpoints like these:
- List Chats, List Chat Messages and Send Chat Message for inboxes across creators.
- Send Mass Message and List Scheduled Mass Messages for campaigns.
- Send Post for publishing.
- Get Earnings Stats and List Top Supporters for a single view of revenue.
No endpoint replaces the Fansly web app or its notifications. Instead, webhooks such as fansly.messages.received, fansly.tips.received and fansly.subscriptions.new send events to your own systems. A common setup is to get tip alerts on your phone through Discord or Telegram.
If you add AI to any of this, keep a person in charge. Fansly's AI policy prohibits AI that interacts with users "without human oversight." Let tools draft and sort, and have people approve what fans read. The full endpoint list is in the API documentation.
Your Fansly app checklist
Run through this once and your phone setup is done:
- Install from fansly.com only. Use Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone, and ignore APKs.
- Turn on 2FA. Pick an authenticator app or email codes in Settings > Account.
- Set your notifications. Adjust the sliders in Settings > Notifications, and don't rely on push alerts.
- Know your login method. Note whether you signed up with email, Google or X.
- Creators: add a streaming app. Install one with RTMP ingest before your first mobile stream.
That's all the Fansly app needs. Once it's on your home screen, you get the full site with one tap.
