Fansly doesn't pay out on a fixed schedule. You request each payout yourself, and as of October 2026, Fansly's payout timing page says new earnings stay pending for 7 days first. Fansly reviews most requests within 48 hours, and from there the timing depends on your payout method.
Fansly's methods are bank transfers, Paxum, Cosmopayment and crypto, with minimums from $20 to $100, and your country decides which you'll see. PayPal isn't one of them.
This guide shows you how to add a method, request a payout, read each status and clear the blockers that hold money up. For the 80% split and what Fansly keeps, see our guide to how much Fansly takes before payout.
What payout methods does Fansly offer?
Fansly pays you through a "payer", the company that actually delivers the money. Fansly's payer guide says you pick your country on the Payout Methods page, then a dropdown lists the payers available there. Paxum and Cosmopayment are payers themselves. Bank and crypto options can have several payers, and some regions list them by bank.
Here's how the methods compare as of October 2026. Minimums come from Fansly's minimums page, and timing comes from its processing times page.
| Method | Currency you receive | Minimum | Typical timing once Processing | Provider-side fees (where confirmed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Local bank deposit (South America, Asia, USD ACH, CAD) | Usually your local currency | $20 | 1 to 3 business days | Ask your bank |
| SEPA bank transfer (EU and UK) | Not stated by Fansly | $50 (request from $20) | Typically 1 to 2 business days | Ask your bank |
| SWIFT bank wire | Usually USD or EUR | $100 | 1 to 3 business days | Your bank may charge to receive international transfers |
| Paxum | Not stated by Fansly | $20 | Usually within 24 hours | No receiving fee stated; withdrawing from Paxum costs extra |
| Cosmopayment | Not stated by Fansly | $20 | Usually within 24 hours | $3.00 or free per payment received, plus $3.00 a month |
| Crypto | Not stated by Fansly | $100 | Usually within 24 hours | Not confirmed |
Fansly processes all transactions in US dollars. The payer guide says bank wire payers usually send USD or EUR via SWIFT, while bank deposit payers usually pay locally in your currency. Payers may also use different exchange rates, so compare them before you choose.
Bank timing varies between Fansly pages. The processing times page says 1 to 3 business days after Processing. The requesting a payout page and the missing bank payout page both allow up to 4 business days. The status page puts SEPA at typically 1 to 2. Plan around the longest figure.
Can you get paid in crypto on Fansly?
Yes. Crypto is one of Fansly's alternative payout methods, alongside Paxum and Cosmopayment, with a $100 minimum. Fansly's help centre doesn't name specific coins or networks, so check the payer dropdown for what's offered in your country.
Crypto payouts join the batch that goes out every 3 days, then usually arrive within 24 hours. Alternative providers may run their own verification, and Fansly says to finish it before you link the account.
Does Fansly pay creators through PayPal?
No. Fansly doesn't list PayPal as a payout method. PayPal's own policy on sexually oriented goods and services also bars "sexually oriented digital goods or content delivered through a digital medium". That includes website subscriptions. If an older guide promises PayPal payouts, trust the payer dropdown instead.
Does Fansly charge payout fees?
Fansly says there are no hidden ones. Its getting-started guide states there are no hidden fees for payouts, processing or currency conversion. Your provider and your bank are a separate matter.
- Paxum: its personal fee page doesn't state a fee for receiving Fansly payouts. Moving money out costs $5.00 by local bank transfer, or $25 to $50 by wire depending on currency.
- Cosmopayment: its fee page lists $3.00 or free per payment received, noting "Some merchants absorb this fee". It doesn't say whether Fansly does. Bank transfers out cost $5.00, and maintenance is $3.00 a month.
- Banks: Fansly's payer guide warns that "your bank may charge a fee for receiving international transfers."
What do you need before your first payout?
Any of these can hold up your first payout, so sort them out early:
- Approved creator account. Our guide to finishing creator verification covers the ID steps.
- Tax forms. Fansly's getting-started guide says you can't withdraw funds until your tax forms are submitted.
- ID and proof of address. Fansly's add a payout method guide asks you to have both ready.
- An account in your own name. The same guide says Fansly only pays out to accounts matching the name on your creator application.
- Provider verification done. Paxum, Cosmopayment and crypto providers may verify you separately.
How to add a payout method on Fansly
Here's the path from Fansly's add a payout method guide:
- Open the site menu and select Earnings Statistics.
- Choose Wallet, payout methods and payout history.
- On the Wallet & Payouts page, open Payout Methods.
- Select your country and review the payers in the dropdown.
- Click +Add Payout Method, pick a payer and enter your details.
Your method has to be verified before you can request a payout with it. If you don't see the option you want, check your profile country. Fansly's personal information page says your country determines your payout options, and updating it "may unlock additional payout methods".
Need to change or remove a method? Fansly's help centre has no article on that as of October 2026. Add the new one through +Add Payout Method, and contact Fansly support about the old one.
How to request a payout on Fansly
Once your method is verified, follow Fansly's requesting a payout page:
- Open the site menu, go to Earnings Statistics and click Request payout.
- On Wallet & Payouts, click Request Payout.
- Enter the amount and choose your payout method.
- Submit the request for approval.
That page says the minimum for most countries is $20. It adds that payouts may take up to 4 business days to fully process. The per-method table above is more precise: SEPA, SWIFT and crypto have higher minimums.
Only part of your balance counts. Wallet & Payouts shows three figures: Total Balance, Pending Balance and Available for Payout. Request against Available for Payout. Only your Earnings Wallet can be withdrawn, and if your Spending Wallet runs short, Fansly covers your own purchases from your earnings.
Hard and soft minimums
Fansly's minimums page splits minimums into two kinds. A request below a hard minimum returns an error. A request below a soft minimum waits until your approved requests reach the threshold.
SEPA works this way. You can request from $20, and if your total never reaches $50, Fansly sends it automatically 14 days after your first request. That's the only automatic payout Fansly's help centre describes.
How long does a Fansly payout take?
In a good case, roughly 8 to 10 days from sale to money in your account. That's our estimate, not a Fansly figure. Fansly doesn't publish an end-to-end time, so we've added up the stages it does publish:
| Stage | What Fansly says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Earnings clear | Pending for 7 days | Processing times |
| Request reviewed | Most within 48 hours | Processing times |
| Batch release (international and crypto) | Every 72 hours, with a cooldown after each run | Payout status |
| Delivery after Processing | Crypto, Paxum, Cosmopayment usually within 24 hours; bank 1 to 3 business days, up to 4 | Processing times, bank payouts |
Run the numbers. A Paxum or Cosmopayment payout reviewed quickly can land around day 8 or 9 after the sale. A bank payout can land around day 8 to 10. Just miss an international or crypto batch and you add up to 3 days.
Weekends and bank holidays stretch this further. Business days exclude both, and the processing times page calls weekend and holiday delays normal. Fansly suggests contacting support once a payout is more than 3 business days late, or shows Processed but hasn't arrived.
What does each Fansly payout status mean?
You'll find your statuses under site menu, Earnings Statistics, Wallet, payout methods and payout history, then Payout Requests. Fansly's status page defines six:
| Status | What Fansly says it means | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Received and awaiting processing | Wait. Most requests are reviewed within 48 hours |
| Approved | Reviewed and approved for transfer | Wait for the next batch if your method is international or crypto |
| Processing | Being sent to your payout provider | Allow about 24 hours for crypto, Paxum or Cosmopayment, longer for banks |
| Processed | Completed | Check with your provider. Contact Fansly support if it's late |
| Refunded | Sent, but returned in transit | Check your details and name, then contact support with your Payout ID |
| Canceled | The request couldn't be started | Contact support with your Payout ID and documents |
What to do if your payout is canceled
Contact Fansly support by chat or at support@fansly.com, from your registered email address. Fansly's canceled payout page asks for your Payout ID, which you'll find on the Payout Methods page. Attach supporting documents such as bank records, approval confirmations or wallet screenshots.
Fansly doesn't list reasons for cancellation, so don't guess. Ask support directly, and check the blockers under "Why is your Fansly payout delayed or failing?" while you wait.
What to do if your payout is refunded
Fansly's status page only says the money was sent and came back in transit. It doesn't give next steps. Check that your payout details are current and in your legal name, then contact support with your Payout ID. Don't request again until you know what bounced it.
Why is your Fansly payout delayed or failing?
In agencies I've worked with, stuck payouts usually came down to paperwork. These are the blockers Fansly's own pages name:
- Missing tax forms. No forms, no withdrawals. Fansly mentions two routes: the Earnings Wallet when you add a payout method, or Creator Dashboard, then Tax Documentation.
- Tax details that don't match. On the W-9 page, US creators must match their name and TIN to tax records "to avoid processing delays".
- Non-US forms submitted late. Non-US creators file a W-8BEN, or a W-8BEN-E for a business. EU residents complete DAC7 first. Fansly says to submit "as soon as possible after account creation to avoid payout delays".
- An old name. Fansly's personal information page says payouts "may fail if issued under your old name". A name change needs proof plus an ID photo.
- An outdated address. It "can cause payout failures or delays". Proof of address must be dated within 90 days.
- A switch to a business or LLC. That change needs new tax forms.
Fansly's tax guide covers which form fits you. The fees guide linked at the top explains withholding and 1099 thresholds. This is general information only, so check your situation with an accountant.
How do you track payouts across several creators?
If you work on creators' accounts through Fansly's Management Sessions, you can't touch payouts. Fansly always keeps them restricted. Each account owner adds their own methods and requests their own withdrawals.
Our Fansly API can't request payouts or add payout methods either. No endpoint does that. What it does is help you monitor and reconcile payouts across the creator accounts you connect:
- List Payout Requests returns each request's
id,amount, payoutMethodId,status, version, createdAtandupdatedAt. The docs don't map status numbers to the six names or state units foramount, so don't assume either. - List Wallets shows each balance. Per the docs, type 1 is the standard wallet and type 2 is "Available for Payout", always present for creators.
- Get Pending Earnings returns
pendingBalance. The docs note earnings unlock on a rolling basis after 7 days. - Webhooks cover each step:
fansly.payouts.created,fansly.payouts.updated,fansly.payouts.debitedandfansly.wallets.updated.
Two details matter for reconciliation. Compare version on fansly.payouts.updated to put status changes in order. And fansly.payouts.debited is kept out of fansly.transactions.new, so a payout isn't counted as new revenue in your figures. Webhook amounts are in thousandths of a dollar.
A simple setup flags any request that sits in one status longer than Fansly's stated windows, and a person follows up with the creator. See our guides on payout webhooks and multi-creator earnings dashboards. For bookkeeping, you can export transactions and payouts.
Your Fansly payout checklist
Run through this before your first request:
- Submit your tax forms. Withdrawals stay blocked until you do.
- Match every name. Payout account, tax forms and creator application should all show your current legal name.
- Fit the method to your volume. A $20 minimum suits small early balances better than $100 for SWIFT or crypto.
- Check provider fees. Fansly states no hidden payout fees, but Paxum, Cosmopayment and receiving banks may charge.
- Keep your Payout IDs. Fansly support asks for them when you report a canceled payout, and they're useful for any other payout query.
Get these right once, and most of what's left is Fansly's published processing time.
